Bodrum is the Aegean's most stylish resort, with a crusader castle overlooking a marina of yachts and gulets. The peninsula around it has white villages, bays and beach clubs.
It's lively at night but also has quiet corners such as Gümüşlük, where fish restaurants sit right on the water.
