Questions people ask

Is tap water safe in Spain?
Yes, it's safe across mainland Spain, though it can taste salty or of chlorine on the coast and in the islands, so many people prefer bottled.
Can I drink tap water in hotels?
In these countries, usually yes. If the hotel puts a sign up saying not to, follow it.
What about ice and brushing teeth elsewhere?
In countries not on this list, use bottled water for drinking and brushing teeth, and be careful with ice. Our tap water guides explain each country.
