Corfu is the greenest of the Greek islands, with olive groves and cypress trees running down to the sea. Corfu Town's Venetian old town is a UNESCO site, with an Italian and British feel.
The north-east coast faces Albania and has the classic coves. The west has sandy beaches and dramatic sunsets. It's a favourite with British families.
