A hundred spires, a hilltop castle and cheap Czech beer

Prague is one of Europe's most beautiful capitals, with cobbled lanes, Gothic towers and the river Vltava running through the middle. The castle district looks down over Charles Bridge and the Old Town.
It's busy year-round with city breaks and stag parties, so go early in the morning for the bridge and the Astronomical Clock, and explore Vinohrady and Letná for local bars.
