Oceania travel guide
Reefs, red deserts, fjords and South Pacific islands
Oceania is about as far from the UK as you can go, and it rewards a long trip: Australia's cities, reef and outback, New Zealand's mountains and fjords, and the island nations of the Pacific.
The UK winter is summer here, which makes December to February popular, though northern Australia's tropics are best in the drier months from May to October.
